For the police Abuse or accountability scandal, the biggest one is the shooting of Laquan McDonald. The whole thing happen around October of last year. The young 17 year old boy was slashing the car tires of the Police and breaking their windshield. The police named wasVan Dyke. He shot the 17 year old 16 times. Later of this year we learn that he was shot because of his race and the police officer was now charged with first degree murder. The mayor of Chicago Rahn Emanuel apologized for the shooting. He was fired from his job because of this shooting. Mayor Emanuel plans to reform the Chicago Police and to being trust back to the people. 100 people marched thought out the city because of the shooting and wanting the mayor to resign.
